The Ministry of Oceans and Fisheries and Naver, Korea’s largest information portal service, are providing a ‘passenger ship route search’ service through Naver Maps to help Koreans, including foreigners, use passenger ships more easily and conveniently.
‘Naver Map (map.naver.com)’ is famous in Korea as the fastest route-finding service using cars and public transportation (buses, trains, and airplanes). It also includes passenger ships. To use it, go to the ‘Naver Map’ site and search for destinations such as islands and terminals. Then, you can see real-time information such as passenger ship routes, times, and fares.
In the future, we plan to provide a service that will allow you to search for your destination and even reserve a ferry ticket all at once. You can still reserve trains and buses through Naver Maps search.
