The Incheon Free Economic Zone Authority (Commissioner
Lee Won-jae) and the foreign community in the Incheon Free Economic Zone (IFEZ)
decided to work together to improve the living conditions.
The Incheon Economic Administration announced that it
had held a meeting with the ‘IFEZ Community Consultative Committee (ICCC)’ at
the Ambassador Hotel in Songdo International City on November 16.
The meeting was attended by Commissioner Won-jae Lee
and members of four foreign communities. The four groups are △Songdo
Foreign Advisory Board △'Catchy Songdo' △Expat
Professional Business Women's Network △The Giving Tree.
This association was formed to create an integrated
communication channel between the communities to collect various opinions to
improve the settlement conditions for foreigners in the IFEZ, and to discuss
related projects and policies.
The meeting was held to hear opinions related to the
living conditions of foreign residents. In particular, there was also a
discussion on YouTube production focusing on the daily life information of
foreigners using the global media studio installed in the IFEZ Global Center.
Commissioner Lee Won-jae said, “Thanks to the efforts of the IFEZ Foreign Community Council to improve the living conditions, IFEZ is becoming a global city where foreigners can live comfortably. Let's continue to work together in the future."
