proceeds in 1st and 2nd rounds. The first application period is until March 14
after admission, and at the end of March, the purchase fee for preparation for
admission is supported. The second application period runs from March 15th to

Support
for multicultural bilingual instructors
Gyeongnam
Provincial Office of Education selects multicultural bilingual instructors and
applies them to each school.
Multicultural
bilingual instructors help students who are entering mid-term or students from
multicultural families communicate, conduct cooperative classes with classroom
teachers during regular class hours, or take charge of bilingual education for
all students after school.
In
the meantime, bilingual instructors were selected by individual schools, but
from this year, the Gyeongnam Provincial Office of Education will select them
directly to reduce the school's workload.
Accordingly,
the Gyeongnam Provincial Office of Education held an interview to select
multicultural bilingual instructors on February 23-24.
The
Gyeongnam Office of Education plans to select competent bilingual instructors
in cooperation with the Gyeongnam Multicultural Family Support Center, the
Gyeongnam Migrant Labor Welfare Center, and the Si-Gun Family Center. It is
expected that this process will contribute to social integration by maximizing
the business effect and enhancing the self-esteem of students from
multicultural families. Selected instructors complete pre-training and contract
with the school according to the needs of each region and language.
Provision
of rapid antigen test kits to schools
Gyeongsangnam-do
Office of Education provides 'Corona 19 Rapid Antigen Test Kit' to front-line
schools in preparation for the new semester to respond to Omicron, which has
high transmission power, and to detect COVID-19 infected people early and block
further transmission.
The
target is all kindergartens, elementary, middle and high schools, special
schools, other schools, and 1,676 unaccredited educational facilities in the
province. Gyeongnam Office of Education purchases 4.29 million rapid antigen
test kits from the Public Procurement Service and distributes them to each
student every week from the 4th week of February to the end of March.
The
amount of support for each student is 2 per kindergartener in the 4th week of
February, and 1-2 per week in March, for a total of 9 students, with a total of
4 for each faculty member.
