Imsil-gun, Jeollabuk-do was finally selected for a contest to create a communication space for foreign tourists, immigrant women and multicultural families at Cheese Theme Park, a representative tourist destination.
Imsil-gun was finally selected after applying for a ‘communication space creation project for foreign tourists and immigrant women in connection with local tourist destinations’ to the ‘2022 residential infrastructure creation project for foreign residents’ conducted by the Ministry of Public Administration and Security.
Accordingly, Imsil-gun plans to create a communication space that supports social integration by promoting multicultural receptivity while interacting with tourists and local residents who visit tourist destinations while working as the main body of operation.
The communication space is scheduled to be installed by October at the Imsil N Cheese Store in the Imsil-gun Cheese Theme Park, which will be relocated to the agricultural and special product distribution center in June.
In this space, a total of three facilities will be created: a foreigner communication and exchange space, a play facility for infants, and a toy rental space, where various families can interact with young children as a medium.
