The Mangeuljang Rail Market is a market where craftsmen, small farmers, multicultural families, and teenagers from the Jeongseon region sell their products along the railroad tracks. On the last Saturday of every month, they move from place to place, such as Najeon Station, Aura Station, and Gujeol-ri Station, to open a market.
Mangeuljang is an event where activists in food, travel, experience, and craft fields of Jeongseon region come together to sell and experience various handmade products at a simple station unique to Jeongseon. It first opened in March and has become very popular with local residents and tourists.
In the mangeuljang, products carefully crafted by local sellers, such as a cute scrubby, calligraphy wood frame, wooden cutting board, gondre bread, gondre salt, dog scrubby, kombucha, and so on are displayed.
