In September, Ulsan City additionally
designated two 'Global Real Estate Brokerage Offices' that can provide real
estate brokerage in foreign languages for the convenience of real estate
transactions for foreign residents living in the city and is operating a total
of 30.
The ‘Global Real Estate Brokerage Office’
selected this time received applications from July 28 to August 26, and
selected two sites, one in English and one in Japanese, after conducting a
literacy test and interview for foreign language skills.
The criteria for selection are brokerage
offices that have been operating in Ulsan City for more than one year and have
not received administrative disposition under the “Certified Realtor Act”
within the last two years.
As two additional locations have been
designated, Ulsan's 'Global Real Estate Brokerage Office' will be expanded to a
total of 30 locations, including 20 in English, 7 in Japanese, and 3 in
Chinese.
'Global Real Estate Brokerage Office' is a
customized service that provides brokerage services such as real estate sales
and rentals to foreigners by certified real estate agents who can communicate
in foreign languages, and the designated status can be found on the Ulsan City
website (field-city/housing/land-land information).
An Ulsan city official said, "We plan
to actively promote the 'Global Real Estate Brokerage Office' so that
foreigners of various nationalities living in Ulsan City can receive a smooth
brokerage service when transacting real estate."
Meanwhile, after being designated as a 'global real estate brokerage office', the designation will be withdrawn from a brokerage office that has been closed or closed, moved to another location, or has been subject to administrative disposition or criminal punishment for violating the Chartered Real Estate Brokerage Act.
