An event where a portion of the purchase amount is returned as an Onnuri gift certificate is called a refund event, and the Korean government has decided to hold this event every day at 30 traditional markets across the country until the end of the year.
Nine famous markets, including Noryangjin Market in Seoul, Jagalchi Market in Busan, Daecheon Port Fishery Market in South Chungcheong Province, and Gunsan Fisheries Center in Jeollabuk-do, have already started the refund event on August 31, and 21 additional traditional markets will participate from the 15th and continue until the end of the year. So we plan to continue the event.
In addition, during Chuseok from September 21st to 27th, during the holiday week from October 3rd to 9th, during kimchi season from November 10th to 19th, and during the year-end period from December 22nd to 31st. Onnuri gift certificate refund events are held 4 times in all traditional markets across the country.

A government official said, “From now until the end of the year, if you go to a traditional market participating in the Onnuri Gift Certificate refund event and purchase Korean seafood worth more than 50,000 won, you can receive 20,000 won back, and if you purchase more than 25,000 won, you can receive 10,000 won back.”
