Taebaek City Promotes Support Project for Married Immigrants from Rural Areas to Visit their Home Country in 2022

Taebaek City promotes a support project for marriage immigrants in rural areas to visit their home countries for the stable settlement of multicultural families in rural areas.

This project is designed to provide opportunities for married immigrants who have not had the opportunity to visit their home country for a long time after marriage so that they can establish a stable family and settle down in Korea.

Recruitment target is 1 farm household, and a maximum of 3.3 million won is provided, including airfare and accommodation expenses to visit their home country.

Eligible applicants are families residing in rural areas within the jurisdiction and their first entry into Korea was before December 21, 2018, families whose main occupation is agriculture and have not benefited from any other institution's home country support project within the past 3 years, family with a long marriage, families that live with their parents-in-law and provide for them, families with many children, and families with few visits to their home country after first entering the country, etc. Priority will be given to these families.

The selected candidates can leave the country as a family according to the individual's desired schedule by the end of November, spend time with their family in their home country, and return.

The application period is until June 3, and how to apply is to visit the Agricultural Support Team of the Agricultural Technology Center with the project application form and required documents.
