Gwangju Metropolitan City will expand and
operate the ‘Subsidy 24’ service from December, which allows you to check
various benefits provided by the government and local governments with a single
login to Government24.
Subsidy 24 is a customized subsidy
information service that allows you to check and apply for various benefits
provided by the central government, local governments, and public institutions
at once through the government 24. The service started on April 28th.
Subsidy 24 currently provides 305 types of
public services such as jobs, welfare, education, and medical care provided by
the central government, and Starting in December, about 6,000 types of services
will be expanded to services provided by metropolitan and basic local
governments.
In particular, when the service is
expanded, Gwangju City will add more than 150 types of welfare services unique
to Gwangju, such as Gwangju Birth Allowance, Gwangju-type postpartum management
service, Gwangju-type additional support for infertility treatment costs,
support for the most severe developmental disabilities, and Gwangju-type basic
livelihood security system.
In addition, about 20 types of support
such as livelihood support for people related to the democratization movement,
veteran's honor allowance, and support for yellow whistle in welfare blind
spots will be made available for online application immediately after inquiry
through subsidy 24.
You can check the subsidy 24 service after
logging in through the Government24 website or mobile app. If you visit the
nearest administrative welfare center with your ID and submit an application,
you can receive the same information as online.
In this regard, Gwangju City plans to operate a service window at the Administrative Welfare Center so that many citizens can use the service and promote the subsidy 24 using various media such as bulletin boards, electronic billboards, and social network services (SNS).
