Daejeon City will complete the first expedited payment of the ‘Small Entrepreneur Daily Recovery Fund’ for businesses that have endured difficult times due to social distancing, quarantine rules, etc. In the same way, the daily recovery funds are paid to foreign residents who do business in Daejeon.

For the 1st expedited payment, 2 million won per company was paid without a separate application process to 1,661 companies that implemented the administrative order prohibiting gatherings, such as entertainment facilities and singing practice rooms, and this is 83% of the expedited payment targets.

The second simple payment of the ‘Small Business Daily Recovery Fund’ is scheduled to start accepting applications from November 17th and be completed by December 31st.

Companies that have implemented administrative orders to restrict business after July 7 and general businesses with reduced sales are eligible for application.

Businesses that have implemented business (hours) restrictions will receive 1 million won per business, and small business owners in general industries with reduced sales will receive a daily recovery fund of 500,000 won.

The city of Daejeon has sent out a letter of information for applying for a secondary simple payment sequentially from the 17th to 80,000 small business owners whose business restrictions or sales decline has been confirmed through the government-paid 'Support Fund Plus' or 'Restoration of Hope Fund'.

The second simple payment method can be applied online (sos.djbea.or.kr) or in person (Daejeon Job Economic Promotion Agency).

Support for closure of small business owners

The special feature of this special support for the daily recovery fund in Daejeon is that small business owners who have implemented quarantine rules but have failed to overcome the financial difficulties and have closed their business are included in the support target.

This is to help small business owners who have closed their business to resume their business. If you are a small business that closed between July 7 and October 31, you can apply by submitting a business closure certificate instead of a business registration certificate.

Among the closed small businesses, businesses that are prohibited from gathering will receive 2 million won, businesses restricted from business will receive 1 million won, and general businesses with reduced sales will also receive 500,000 won.

Daejeon City’s special support for daily recovery funds is subject to ① business establishments located in the Daejeon area ② business establishments whose business registration date is before September 30, 2021 according to business registration ③ if you were in business between July 7 and October 31, retired workers are also included in the subsidy. ④ In the case of operating multiple business establishments, payment shall be made for each business establishment registered as a business entity.

However, cases of violation of the prohibition of gathering or business restrictions, unregistered business owners who have not registered their business, businesses that have applied by false or other illegal means, non-profit corporations, organizations, corporations, and associations without legal personality are excluded from the scope of support.

3rd confirmation payment period

The 3rd confirmation payment will be paid to small business owners who have been omitted from the 1st and 2nd payments after confirming the submission of supporting documents from December 1st to 31st.

In the case of general businesses, the minimum business period must be at least 60 days to compare the decrease in sales. .
